Lotherton Hall, near Leeds, becomes a new addition to the food festival calendar in 2016. With the stunning surroundings of the hall & it's gardens we felt it was the perfect setting for a food festival. The best news is, it will cost you no more for your entry over the weekend either, just your usual entrance fee of £5.50 for adults & £2.70 for children! Entrance for annual pass holders of the hall remains free of charge.
There will be a whole host of the best street food traders around in our Hot Food Court offering dishes from all over the world from Mexican to Italian, Turkish to just a good old traditional English hog roast! You will struggle to know what to choose! We will also have over 80 local producer & craft stalls selling delicious goodies to take home with you from jams, chutneys, delicious cakes & biscuits to perhaps a bottle of local gin to enjoy long after the food festival is over!
There will of course be a festival bar serving locally brewed beers from Rudgate Brewery as well as speciality bars offering Pimms, Prosecco & Cocktails! But the fun doesn't stop there as there will be live music on various stages across the site, free children's entertainment, children's cookery classes, full fun fair and the biggest bouncy castles you have seen, plus a whole lot more!

Don't worry about getting in, as we will have an alternative entrance in to the Hall and Festival for road users so you shouldn't be affected by the cycling traffic (see our getting here section for further information)

Sunday- The festival will open it's gates once again for more of the same foodie action! We will have more Live Music to keep your feet tapping to on our main stage and busking stage in & around the 'secret garden'. Our bars open at 12 noon offering you superb locally brewed ales from Rudgate Brewery or perhaps a glass of prosecco from our Pimms & Fizz tent. Children can continue to enjoy more of the same FREE activities in our entertainment marquee or try bouncing on some rather large inflatables or enjoy some of the funfair rides on site. The fun starts at 10.00am and finishes at 7.00pm so a full but fun-packed day can be enjoyed by all.
Monday- The last day of the food festival action finishes with some traditional May Day festivities you may expect to see including may pole dancing and a wonderful brass band set to play in front of the hall. Enjoy the tranquil setting of the secret garden with some acoustic music from local artists or sit back in one of our deckchairs and enjoy some great bands up on the main stage located in the hot food area. Today is the final day to enjoy some local produce and crafts to take home & enjoy. Our producers are nearly all local and make some of the finest products around so enjoy a taste or two of what they have to offer before deciding on your home purchases. Our hot food court can be enjoyed for breakfast, lunch and dinner if you are struggling to choose what to eat as we don't close until 7.00pm and of course the kids can enjoy lots of the same free activities in the entertainment marquee, kids cookery classes, funfair & bouncy castles.
Put the date in your diaries now and bring all of your friends & family for what should be a memorable weekend for all! The food festival will be at the hall from Saturday 30th April to Monday 2nd May 10.00am-7.00pm daily
Please note on Saturday 30th there will be a rolling road closure between approximately 08.55 to 9.40 and again 14.45 to 15.30 due to the Tour De Yorkshire. We anticipate this will cause little disruption.
